Washington, D.C.—Tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb. 7, at 9:30 a.m., in the U.S. Capitol, Mansfield Room, S207, Senator Orrin Hatch (R-UT) will host a press conference with veterans groups in support of the Fairness in Asbestos Injury Resolution Act (FAIR Act, S. 852) currently being debated on the Senate floor. The bipartisan bill ensures full, fair compensation for victims of asbestos-related injuries and has broad support among veterans, who are disproportionately afflicted with asbestos-related illness.
